Waiting for Monday
Surgery went on for about four hours. It was done safely and successfully. Praise the Lord!!! The tumor was bigger than a golf ball, though smaller than a tangerine. So now we wait for Monday to here the big news . . . whether it was malignant or benign.

Thank you for the update! Rejoicing with you and your family, yet continuing to pray…

I’m so glad to hear that surgery went well. The poor little child. I think it would be so difficult to watch your child suffer. We will continue to remember you all in pray and also Kendra and her family. We never know what we might have to face in life. May God bless you today!

We will be praying for your family as you go through this difficult time. I pray that God will be with Lorens as they wait on the news on Monday. God is always in control!!

Well, Kendra called this afternoon. She said she’s optomistic, but there was a bit of damage done to the brain in cutting out the tumor. She said it will affect her sense of balance; she’ll probably be pretty clumsy and the brain may in time rewire itself a bit. They’re not sure how walking will go . . .
Thanks for all your concern and prayers!
One never knows for sure what God intends to do through all this . . . We can’t see the BIG picture . . . but I know it is for the “good of those who love God and are called according to His purpose”
God uses soooo many ways to touch hearts, to soften, to mold, to refine . . . I get soooo excited thinking of all the ways God woos us to His heart!

Aimee, I am so curious about something. I read about your niece on your blogsite, then today I read the newsletter from my school that was published this week. In it there was a request for prayer for Regan, because she is the niece of Rosella Fisher, one of our patrons. I’m assuming Rosella must be related to your sister’s husband. I know the Fisher family goes to VA sometimes to visit their relatives. I called Fishers a while ago to ask them, but I just got their answering machine. What a small world! Many, many people are praying for that precious little girl.

Yep, right on, Rosella is Loren’s older sister.
