You All Go Together!

Tuesday, November 7th, 2006

This is what you do when you don’t want to bother Grandma with babysitting and you can’t afford to pay for lots of babysitting hours.

You take the whole family in to meet dad right when he gets off work. Then you drive to the doctors office and all go in.

This is not recommended to be in there for two and a half hours . . . with a five year old, a four year old, a two year old, a one year old and a seven month old . . . and furthermore not having had supper yet.

I had to have a blood test done and we wanted to check out Jeremiah’s ears for ear infection (when he gets a cold then we have the hardest time with his hearing!).

Well, the doc. sees Jaden and promtly says he has one too!

Anyway both my husband and I decided that next time we do something different . . . but what?

Upon a Rock!

Saturday, November 4th, 2006

Yesterday I lost my patience . . . (I just lost it and couldn’t find it. All day I searched and it was nonexistant, I think) Just kidding, but I was not a very patient mom! . . . a very bad day indeed, for everyone involved!

“And God is able to make all grace abound toward you,
that you having all sufficiency in all things
may abound unto every good work.”

II Cor. 9:8

Ok, I was a failure for a mom for sure! . . . .Oh, that I had availed myself of the grace of God!

Times are tough . . .
And I’m only a “diamond in the rough”
My patience wears thin . . .
I get frustrated and begin
At times, to question God’s power,
But WOW, He’s there for
each hour!
And wow, upon wow, God’s grace is enough!
For even this “diamond in the rough”

So day, I get to try again . . . Please pray for me.

“For in the time of trouble
He shall hide me in his pavilion;
In the secret of His tabernacle
shall He hide me:
He shall set me up upon a rock.” Psalm 27:5

And Now . . .
