Why did God clothe Adam and Eve after they had sinned and were put out of the Garden of Eden? After all it was only husband and wife and God there . . . What died there that day? Adam and Eve were still there with their hearts beating.

“God is light and in him dwelleth no darkness at all” I John 1:5b LeRoy Yoder (of SMBI) says, “Adam and Eve, before sin, were probably clothed in or with light. In glory there will be no need for any light except for God himself who is light. Adam and Eve, in the garden before sin, were in “glory” totally uncovered (unveiled) before God and each other. Since the coming of sin the glory of God must always be veiled to some degree so that man will not die! Sinful man, face to face with a holy, unveiled God would die!”
