Riddle

I am ravenously hungry, desperate for naps and cry at ”nothing”.  Some of my snacks the past few days include onion sandwiches and dill pickles.  What am I?

God bless you as you expect and raise another little one for Him! May He give you the strength you need and rest in and from Him, so that your peaceful inner man may flow out into your everyday life. I have been struggling with patience, too, lately. We are working on cheerful, willing obedience or sweetly accepting a “no”. Sometimes it seems all up hill. I know being too busy doesn’t help. Sometimes my focus gets so far off, and I forget that God has a vision for our home. I so often am just “getting through” the day. So, I sympathize.:)
Congratulations on this new little nestling. :)

Blessings to you! May the Lord show himself strong on your behalf!

Aimee, I am so happy for you and your family! God is truly wonderful and his blessings are overwhelming!

(I just read that Amy of Amy’s Humble Musings is also expecting another blessing from the Lord! Thought you would want to know, since I know you keep up with her blog too.)

God bless you and watch over you and your loved ones!

:) It’s always fun to tell people again. I never did get cravings, though. Or get up during the night and eat. Although I did eat a whole jar of pickles once. All by myself. It was fun. Back to you though-are you sick or nauseas at all?

  11. Aimee Says:

It is nice to have company in this special journey of pregnancy . . .

As for nauseas, I can keep most of it at bay if I eat all the time :) I think all the sickness goes into tiredness though for me . . .

I eat onion sandwiches whenever, not just when I’m pregnant, but this was last fall’s onion, so maybe I was desperate!

  12. Elaine Says:

Congratulations!! I have never understood the dill pickle cravings. For me, it was always melons, which was handy since most of my pregnancy was during the summer. Praying for you through the tiredness–that was worse than the nausea for me.

  13. Kay Says:

Aimee, congratulations!!!! I hope you can get some sleep! I was always so tired too! As far as eating, my first baby was made with mashed potatoes (instant, craved them every day). With my second one, it was chocolate milk (fat free though). Hope all goes well.

  14. Carrie Says:

Congratulations, Aimee!! A new baby is always so exciting!!! How many weeks are you then (ie. how much longer will the tiredness last?)? I will be thinking of you as you battle a tired path through the next weeks…

Congratulations! I didn’t catch on til I looked at the comments. I must be a little like you–not to sick, but oh, so tired! It makes me tired just thinking about it! How do you take naps with the little ones? I felt like mine just ran loose, because mom was to out of it to care. Thankfully it eased up by 12-14 weeks. Take care!

  16. JULIE Says:
