Curious George and Empty Ovens
This evening I’m packing up the children right after naps and heading in to town to meet Japheth and then we are taking the children to MEET CURIOUS GEORGE! Imagine the excitement around here . . .
Last evening we had chili for supper. I went to get the cornbread out of the oven. I opened it up and it wasn’t there! . . . just an empty oven!!! So another half an hour and then fresh warm cornbread! (It was kinda hectic around here for a bit at supper time and the batter got forgotten in the mess of the kitchen) . . . I guess I am getting older . . . Friday I turn 30 . . .

Happy Birthday!
Getting older is a good excuse for thinks like that! I know, because I am more than twice your age.
Love and Blessings.

Oh, man, you ARE going to be old!!! Thankfully, I’m only 29 and 1/2 and will not be thirty for a least another 6 months or so…
Weird, isn’t it? I remember Mom turning 30, and it seems odd to be at that point too, because I was just 16 last I checked. I’m sure the yummy cornbread was worth the delay.

Happy birthday! Funny how young 30 sounds the closer we get to it.
Now I’m thinking 80 still sounds old. I might change my mind on that one too. I caught myself almost putting a partially used jar of pizza sauce in my pantry instead of the fridge yesterday. . you’re not alone.
