Ok, here’s a better picture one of the stages of a bee swarm . . . Judi took this I got most of my coverage on vidio and forgot the camera.  This is the stage before they shake them off into a hive (the other swarm picture was of them going into the hive and getting settled in their new home.

Ok, more daisy pictures . . . actually the daisy field this year produced yarrow instead . . . kinda wierd, but oh well . . .

And just in case mom gets online somehow . . . this is for you!

Ya gotta love it when your husband tells you to make a “Honey Do” list . . . . And that’s precisly what he told me to do this morning!  I love it!

Firstfruits

Wednesday, June 20th, 2007

The first fruits of your garden, the first strawberries, green beans, peas etc. Do you give the first fruits to God?

I haven’t done this very much but there is something special about giving some of your firstfruits as a special offering or gift to God( “when ye have done it to the least of these my brethren ye have done it unto Me.”)

This morning was one of those times and the feeling is glorious . . .

It gives one the good excuse to go visit the elderly, the shut-ins, the neighbors, ect.

Exodus 23:19 The first of the firstfruits of thy land thou shalt bring into the house of the LORD thy God

Numbers 18:12 All the best of the oil, and all the best of the wine, and of the wheat, the firstfruits of them which they shall offer unto the LORD, them have I given thee.

Proverbs 3:9 Honor the LORD with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase.

Plant Sale

Wednesday, June 20th, 2007

“Let the saints be joyful in glory; let them sing a loud upon their beds. Let the high praises of God be in their mouth . . .” Psalm 149 5,6a

God blessed me abundantly in my plant sale.

My husband kept his thoughts to himself but he thought that we’d be bringing most of them back home
. . . no such thing. They brought in eighty bucks! . . . and I couldn’t believe it myself! God had His mighty hand in this I’m sure!!! Praise be to our God Most High!

“Praise Him for His mighty acts . . .” Psalm 150:2a

Father’s Day

Monday, June 18th, 2007

This is one of my all-time favorite pictures though it’s been a few years ago . . .

Dear Lord, I ask for special Spiritual blessings for this special man, the father of my sons and daughters . . . not necessarily comforts of this life but the sweet dew and rain of the spiritual down pouring of your Holy Spirit, Your courage, Your boldness, Your sensitivity, Your love and Your faithfulness . . . These are what really matter and I’m SO THANKFUL that my husband, the man that I love so deeply, desires this also . . . My dreams are being fulfilled each day . . . My man is a Man of God, a Man of the Word . . .

I deeply respect and honor him . . . He’s my best friend and counselor . . . My lover . . . My closest loved one . . . . God bless you richly, Honey, with His kind of riches. Your wife and Sweetheart forever!

Chris

Saturday, June 16th, 2007

Tomorrow we’re going to visit Japheth’s friend Chris . . . They met at Driver’s Ed. class and have been good friends and have kept in touch ever since. He’s had cancer many times and now this time may be the last. . . They were planning to come visit us this weekend, but he’s in too much pain, so we are going there. He’s been given at the most six months. What do ya say to a dying friend . . . What do ya say to the one who’ll be left alone with two little children . . .

Garage sale bargains - two cute little mailboxes. One this summer and one from last summer. I just got them out of hiding and put them up for use. Jeremiah’s investigating what Auntie sent him in the mail.
