We’re Celebrating!

It was seven years ago that I was waiting for my fiancee to come . . .  we were anxiously awaiting our wedding day . . . oh, to be together all the time . . .

And now this season of life is soooo busy caring and providing for our growing family, that time alone, just the two of us, seems precious and short . . .

But God is good . . . I cherish the relationship I have with my husband . . . especially when I look around me and see the kind of relationships many husbands and wifes have.

I have been blessed with a faithful husband whom I can trust, one whom I laugh with and share my deepest longings and dreams, one whom I can lean on and who will weep with me during tough times.

And so we celebrate . . .  life together . . .  one never know how long that may be . . . Japheth’s friend Chris went on to be with the Lord last week, at age 30, leaving behind a grieving wife and a young son and a daughter.

“We have this moment, to hold in our hands and to touch, as it slips through our fingers like sand . . .” Yeserday is gone and tomorrow may never come.  But we have THIS MOMENT TODAY!

You know what makes a marriage special? Its a marriage that includes God!! Before my husband an I even met; an married; we both had one thing in common. We were praying to a HOLY & RIGHTEOUS GOD for the Christian mate that HE would choose for us!! One thing that has stood out to me;a message that Japheth wrote. He said he went to God in prayer about his future marriage partner. You know God wants us to seek Him out over important matters as well as minor things that effect our lives. I commend both you & Japheth for your trust an dedication toward serving God. If anything in a Christian’s life is to work out an blessings come to us; it takes true love in God; an a compassionate love for one another just as Jesus showed us an still does today! Amen!

Happy anniversary! It was seven years for us the end of June. I can definitely identify with this post–remembering our wedding, yeah, not much time just the two of us, THANK GOD for a wonderful husband, enjoy each moment, etc. You just knew how to say it, again. :-) Thanks for being an inspiration to me!

Ah, yes, I know the feeling of feeling like you don’t get to ‘celebrate’ very often, and I’m learning to enjoy and ‘celebrate’ any time my hubby is home without school work to do.
Check out our blog for our exciting celebration weekend coming up! =]
