A "Good" Nights Rest
As much as I would like for baby to come, each evening when it is time to go to bed I decide that really I need to get a “good” night’s rest first.
(all mother’s ,I’m sure, know just how restful
this can be.) And I am gratful to fall asleep and watch the hours go by with each bathroom trip and gratefully crawl back into bed and sleep as well as a hippo might.
Why is it that often babies come at such a time to take away a whole night or half a night of needed rest?

My question, exactly. All of mine have done that! And it’s definitely the average, at least. Troy says it’s because that’s when we’re relaxed, but that can’t always hold true, because sometimes we get started in the daytime, so there! Praying it goes soon for you, and that you can get your rest beforehand!

Labor with both of mine started about 4 a.m. and both were born within half an hour of midnight. Maybe there is something to it!
