My Necklace

Ok, so I’m going to start going around the house with a big “necklace” decorated with a red pen, a long glue stick and a whistle. The pen is to score the boys school work, the glue stick is to “remind” little people what they are to be doing or NOT doing, and sometimes I need the whistle to get everyone’s attention without yelling, and I need these things where ever I’m at and with me at all times . . . This is life right now . . . Some day I will reap what I have sown . . . I long to reap a good harvest . . . so I keep at it . . . Seeing families either good or bad harvest spurs me on . . .

“Let not mercy and truth forsake you;

Bind them about thy neck,

Write them upon the tablet of your heart.

And so find favor and high esteem with God and man.”   - Proverbs 3:3,4

    So a glue stick is your ‘head-knocker’ in other words? =] Interesting.

    i got everything but the gluestick? I thought perhaps it was a spanker paddle, but then I couldn’t imagine how a 3 in. glue stick would qualify as such…so ??? lOL sometimes I wish not for a necklace, but something to tie around my waist. It would have a holster to hold a paddle, a clip for the portable phone, which would run to an earpiece on my head, and the pad of paper for taking calls. Hmm. Maybe a pen, too like you said. This list could get quite extensive. ha

    LOL! You must not have heard of the need for a glue stick then too? ;-) We went to the craft store and they sell glue sticks in bulk and they have the standard three inch length ones, as well as the 10″ or 12″ ones as well.

    These serve their purpose well as they achieve the desired result without leaving a mark as a wood paddle is want to do.

    Trouble is, they keep disappearing… hmmm. Maybe I will get a dozen next time instead of 6!! :-)
