School Break
Japheth recently put up our blackboard. He got it out of a school that was going to be demolished. This was one of the ones that didn’t have a rock thrown at it. I love these old slate boards . . . takes me back in time . . .
Anyway we are looking forward to a short trip to Stone Lake, WI in a couple weeks to visit some friends. It will be a nice break from school . . . just two short days though . . . but with all the children, let me see our six and their eight and all of them 10 and under. I think they live in a trailer . . .
but you know sleeping on the floor at those ages is ADVENTURE!
“For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that we through the patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope. ” Romans 15:4
Just one of our Bible memory\ Scripture songs. I know all about the comfort of the Scriptures, but what does it mean the patience of the Scriptures?

Small world! We live about 15 miles from Stone Lake! I’ll bet you’re going to visit Delvins? …in a trailer, 8 young children.
That does sound like an adventure. Hope the children travel well for you. I love the old blackboard you got!

Hi..I’ve read your blog for awhile gleaning much inspiration from God through you. Delvin told Dan, his bro. my hubby, just this past Sunday that you are visiting them. I’m a tad jealous but hope you have a wonderful time.

I would much enjoy meeting you as well but alas…we live in Oregon. Actually I enjoy being where am but we do miss our family. I have no married siblings so the Weaver cousins are very special to my children. Take Care

so when are you coming to visit us?
we don’t have a blackboard (chalk makes me shiver) but we do have a white board, and we LOVE it.
