God’s Special Touch
We’ve been praying about moving . . .
And in keeping with tradition :), and in preparation for the future . . .
We are taking down this deck (and the house next month) for lumber. I’m enjoying this working together project, and the children are all excited of course, getting to use hammers for “real”!
And wouldn’t you know . . . that very first evening . . . the beginning of our work of this kind . . . we had a shower of rain . . . and a rainbow!!! . . . Rainbows have that feeling of awe . . . of blessing . . . of God’s hand . . . of His closeness . . .

Now you have me curious.

You mean about the tradition? or what? . . . the tradition is quite young but it feels like one and is something that I want to become a tradition if possible . . . does that make sense. Daddy (Bob) and the family took down an old barn in PA somewhere and built their house with the barn beams and have some of the weathered wood as paneling or chair rail (I love the chair rail for two things - one I love the old weathered rustic look and secondly it is VERY handy when you have a crew of young children - they aren’t always making nicks in the nice painted\papered drywall . . . oh, and thirdly it is nice if you need to put a nail in it for some reason
We considering moving in closer to work . . . and Kitchi is considering started up a mission church in B. We also would be able to minister better to the International students at BSU . . . they think we live too far out in the middle of nowhere . . . and they don’t have transportation (we’ve been taking them back and forth) . . . So . . .it’s been a matter of prayer for awhile . . .

Aimee, it was your mention about moving that I was curious about. The “tradition” part I understood - I’m married to a Stauffer, you know!!!
