Just a Daisy in the Meadow

Loraine loves our new pets, Twilight and Twitter!

Poor things though, the way they are played with, hard telling how long they will be around . . . someday the door might be open too long . . .

Here’s my knitting project . . . First sweater ever . . . As you can see I’m working on the sleeves yet . .  I’ve really enjoyed this project!

And my friend, Hope, gave this quick, nifty idea . . .

Two cans of biscuits

Mix syrup together and melt in saucepan then pour in bottom of tube pan.

1\2 cup butter, 1 Tbsp. light corn syrup, 1\2 cup brown sugar, 1 tsp cinn., and however many nuts ya like

Place biscuits on top.

Bake at  450 for about 10-15 min I think (can’t remember )

Anyway fast and easy and we love’m!!!!!

The other day we were on a walk and stopped by the neighbors say “Hi!” play a bit and use their bathroom . . . I was challenged by this poster in their bathroom . . . so I put it in mine too

DO HARD THINGS

things that are outside your comfort zone

things that go beyond what is expected or required

small hard thing that no one else sees, acknowledges or appreciates

big hard things like standing alone when everyone sees

sticking with things that don’t bring instant rewards

They like to get it all done in May . . . before it gets too warm and the sweat runs freely

Filling the wood shed  . . .  Not a duty to ride though! . . . and Lynne gets the choice seat, up front with Grandpa!

What a powerful way of putting it like it really is…
